3 Point hitch question

I guess you guys haven't see all the threads about using check chains to set the cutting height:

Just glancing at the back of my tractor I'm not sure that there is a mounting point on the tractor that's high enough to work for this. It's a great idea but when I look at the top link bar, the mounting point on the tractor would be almost level with the lift pins on the mower. Not sure that it would affect the height of the mower. I'll do more looking at it this weekend when I'm off work.....Don

Look at the first two pictures again, the chains can be attached lower on the mower.
