3 point hitch is surging on Mahindra 5005

Cleaned filter, full of oil, but still surges. Front end loader works fine, no surges. I don't have service / repair manual. Any ideas?

My guess is 3 pt piston is leaking. Does 3 pt leak down rapidly when engine is stopped?

What do you mean by surging? Implement drifts down when in the raised position or the lift "hunts" while using the draft control doing ground engagement type work?

One would be bad seals like Tx Jim stated the other could be linkage out of adjustment or a sticking valve.

No, lift doesn't leak down.It can stay up 4-5 days. Sure has me puzzled, any other ideas?

It surges when lifting.it will raise a couple of inches, then stop, then raise more, but goes back down smooth.
