I've been looking at 3 point hitch aerator's from several sources, and they all seem to be from the same overseas manufacturer. The aerator is a 60" model, brown in color, weighs 264 pounds with ~66 tines. Price at each company (Rural King, DR Power, Northern Tools, L&M, etc) is around $700 plus shipping, and has been back ordered at several of the companies. Has anyone on the forum had experience with this model? Thanks in advance.

Not that particular model. I have a heavier Bush Hog MPG720 that works pretty well.

A few things I've learned using mine.
I added over 600# of weight to my weight rack. This puts the weight of mine at about 1100#. I probably could have added even more and made a total weight of 1400# or so. When using one, soil moisture is everything and it's a real balancing act of it being just right. Too wet and your tractor tires make ruts and the coring tines might not pull plugs, but instead compact a plug. Too dry and it doesn't penetrate.

All in all, mine works great, I've used it twice this season on my 7 acre horse pasture and timed it each time with a fertilizer application.

I'm very happy with the Everything Attachments 60" drum aerator.

I would love to have the EA aerator, but there is a big difference between $1500 and $700 for use on a 2 acre yard.
