3 ford tractors for $1800.00

Hi i went and looked at 3 ford tractors lastnite and im suppose let guy know today whether i want them or not. There is two ford 8n's (possible 2n or 9n). One runs and 1 is suppose to run but needs tank cleaned. They are lil rough but both have like new back tires and are all there. One has a sherman aux trans. (rare?). The third tractor is a ford 1700 4wd with bradco loader. With locked up engine and no hood and flat tires. The 1700 is what i want to use for parts for future project. They want $1800 for all 3. Is this to much? I want to sell the 8ns and possible loader off 1700.

I think that is a heck of a deal. You can sell the running 8N for 1200-1500 alone if not more.

That sounds like a great deal. Parts alone are worth 3-4X that.

the running N may be worth 1800$ by itself, if in good condition...

Lets say it's a rough runner and bargain basement price of 1200$.. the other one tht should run but don't? it's a parter we will call it.. 500$ ( tires alone ).. that means the 1700 you are getting for 100$.. the loader by itself is likely worth 5x+ that. not to mention the drivetrain parts.. the block that is siezed.. if nothing else.. it's money at a scrapper, if it can't be fixed.

those are conservative #'s... especially since the sherman, if working, even an overdrive, is worth 200$.. if a combo.. maybee 800$.. like near rear tires.. each set is worth near 500$.. etc.. etc..

so yeah.. sounds good...

Lol yea it was on you know where. I aint got the extra money to spend. So im goin buy jus the 4wd. For my future mini forklift project. I want reverse controls and mount a small forklift mast i have on it. The 1700 has 4 flat tires and locked up engine and no hood. And is jus ruff overall. The loader is a bradco and needs lil bit work. I jus aint got the extra money to wait on return from 8ns

If it wasnt a 2 hour drive, and if I were able to haul more than one at a time, I would probabally already own them.

Definatally money to be made. Ths sherman, while I wouldnt consider it rare, definatally adds to its value and sell-ability.

And I dont know what the other N is because you only included 1 pic, but the one you did include is NOT an 8n. It is either a 9n or 2n.

There is a good chance those Fords were sold new through Lashley's in QC-not sure of the Ford dealer down in Caldwell if there is one.

Yeah i was thinkin they are 2n or 9n too after lookin at them. They are in a backwoods spot i wud have hard time gettin my gooseneck in. Yeah there is l and h tractor in caldwell
