2X20 MMM adjustment... Again!

I recently installed a 60" MMM on my 2920. I have already checked several other threads and was hoping someone could post a few pics of their height control knob installed from the bottom. I'm not having any problems with the height adjustment when there is weight on the cam of the control knob. However when the deck is lifted off of the cam, or bumped from un-even terrain, the height of the deck changes. My control knob spins freely when the deck is lifted.
I had the extra parts shown in the attached photo when I was done with the installation, however there is no reference to this part in the installation manual. I have a feeling they will stop the problem, I just need to know where to put them. Thanks!

No idea where the parts go, but the height adjustment should have a detent, so it sorta "clicks" into each height setting. Shouldn't move just because the deck is raised.

Sorry, I just don't know your tractor....
