2Watt GMRS radio for $15 ea.!!

I have a valid GMRS license and can legally use this radio.
The radio's mentioned are specificly GMRS radio and NOT!!! combo FRS / GMRS radio. There is no channel on the radio listed that can be used without a license.

You have a sharp eye. I didn't look closely and at first thought they were a combo unit. The Unidens I have are a combo and there are some channels that can be used without the license. Others require the license. Several of the FRS channels are the same frequency as the GMRS channels.

Are there any GMRS repeaters in your area? When I get into my new place I'm considering setting up a low power repeater for use around the neighborhood. I can't talk the wife into getting her ham license!

I had a GMRS repeater up for a while but I am very rural and no one else has gear. My wife wasnt to interested in GMRS or getting her ham ticket. I was hopping she would get her ham ticket so she could talk to me then I make it easier with the GMRS, Gues she doenst want to talk to me at all. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
