Does anyone have an electrical diagram of the starting system on a 2920? My 2920 won't start. I jumped the three interlock switches (hydrostatic pedal, pto engagement, and the one beside the pto engagement that goes int the transmission, not sure what that one is for) I also wired down the seat switch. when I engage the key switch I can hear and feel the fuel solenoid sw engage but I have no power to the starter solenoid. If I jump the starter solenoid the engine starts and stays running unless I release the seat switch then the engine shuts down. Acts like the pto is engaged but it is not and the safety switch is jumped. I put all the switches back in the system and get the same results. Jump the starter and it runs until i get off the seat. Without an electrical diagram I am stumped. Getting off the seat should not kill the engine if everything is in neutral. Any ideas? or schematics?

Maybe this will help.

Thanks for the schematic. It looks like I overlooked the seat tilt switch in my switch testing. I will check it when I get home. If it is ok then it will most likely be the operator presence controller. This is a huge help. Thank You. I did find a website where I can download the service manual for $18.99 in pdf format. Seems like a good investment now. tradebit.com if any one is interested. here is the link http://aceofpartsllc.tradebit.com/?s=b2920

Update.... My 2920 does not have a seat tilt switch. Found the occupant presence controller and disconnected the plug. checked the wiring back to each switch and all was ok. Reconnected everything and now the tractor starts. I don't like it when things just start working without really ever fixing something. So I am not super confident that it is repaired. I think there may be something intermittent within the occupant presence controller. If it happens again I am changing the controller.

you might be right, but I sure do read many posts about tractors won't start and it turns out the HST drive pedal is not in the neutral position. Glad your got your issue sorted out..

Glad you "fixed" it. It could be the occupancy switch...maybe one of the connections was loose......
