2920 owners

I am going to purchase a new Kubota in the next month. I had decided upon the 3200 until I stopped by another dealer that had the 2920 to test drive. I can say that the 2920 had less vibration than the 3200 but the 3200 did not have a frontend loader on it either. The vibration was not bad on the 3200 by any means.

For you guys cutting with your 2920, does it handle a good 5 ft bush hog like the Land Pride pretty well? I am going to be doing a little loader and dirt work, but after the first year or 2 i am going to be cutting grass and deer lanes about 80-90 % of the time. How does the 2920 do with 5 ft implements in general like a box blade, disk, etc.?

My personal opinion is that with 5' implements, you're better off with at least the B3200, B3030, B7800, etc.

I would say a 54" cutter would be max for the 2920. I have a 60" RFM and it runs it just fine, a 60" rear blade that from what little I have used it with my 2920 (its a new tractor) I think it will be just fine. But, I do not think I would want to tangle with a 60" box blade that was heavily engaged in the dirt. I also have a 48" tiller that works just fine, little narrow but putting out the $$ for a 4" wider tiller makes no sense right now. If you are looking at implements 60" or better you may be better off with a 3200 or 7800.

I have the 2620, power is there, but it just doesn't seem to handle the 5' landpride rotary cutter I have. Only have use it maybe 5 to 7 times since buying it last year (cutter), I will be selling it as soon as I get time to take a picture of it and post it in craigslist. I believe a 4' would be much better for a rotary cutter. The finish mower works fine though.
