2810 FEL Fluid question

Hello. New to the board and new to Mahindra. Recently purchased a 2810 with front end loader. The fluid level through the site glass looks fine, as does the color. My question is this - is the rear end hydro fluid the same that operates the front end loader - as in is this site glass the one and only place to check fluid levels (other than engine oil)? Or is there another fill and check location for the loader fluid? Thank you for any assistance.

To the forum from Alabama. Yes, if you have 2 WD and no if you have 4WD. The front axle is separate on 4WD.

Thanks from OK. I do have 4 wheel drive, so front axle has its own? Are the front end hydraulics plumbed with the rear diff and trans?

By frontend, do you mean loader? Yes the loader works off the backend hydro.

Yes, FEL, power steering and HST (if you have it) come from the same location. The front axle (4x4) has it's own fill / drain plugs and should be checked also.

This all if you have a Mahindra loader on it and not an alternative loader.

Some things I would check is turn the pto on and be sure its working... also be sure the 4wd lever is operating correctly. Fuel filters are neglected on these models the most for some reason so make sure and check it as well
