I have a six acre farm that is about 3 acres pasture, and the other 3 split between wooded and lawn to maintain. I have the opportunity to buy a 2013 Branson 2800 4X4 w/BL00 FEL that only has nine hours use (owner died) for $9500. Is this a good deal and should it work for my purposes? I use a 5 ft bush hog and 5 ft finish mower.

I would call 9 hours "New"!! So check on new prices in your area and compare.
I used to run a 5' Bushhog on a 8N Ford that was only 26hp gas. I would even back up on Palmettos and lower and chip them.
My 3510 Branson handles the 5' Hog with no problems so a 28hp should do well.
I paid right at $15,500. for my 3510 with FEL. And worth every penny!!

Excellent deal, if you don't want it let me know. I am currently looking at them and you are looking at about 16K.

That's a DEAL. The 2800s went away in April 2013 or so, and they have no plans to make a tier IV model. Though there are mid size models that are rumored to be in the works. We will see!

You can't touch a used 4x4 with FEL in the 30HP neighborhood for under $10K...oh...wait...snap it up!
