2720 & Frontier PHD 300 post hole digger

This weekend I borrower a Frontier PHD 300 post hole digger to use on my 2720. It worked very well, except that I could only drill about 30" deep with it. The 3 point hitch on my 2720 does not go low enough to be able to dig deeper than that.

I was needing to go over 36" deep. I was able to dig deeper holes by using the loader to raise the front of the tractor off of the ground, but that was a pain to do on each of the 27 holes that I drilled & also doing that makes it difficult to keep the holes straight. .

On the 2320, that I traded for the 2720, the 3 point hitch lift links had 3 different positions to set the draft link height. The 2720 only has one height position on the lift arms.

Anyone know of way to fix this?

Chevy is there any chance that's a short bit? Most bits for the PHD300 are 48"
long, while the ones for the PHD100 are the 36" bits... if that's all you have to
work with there are extensions available,,, something like this:

Thank you for the reply & the link. The extension will solve the issue.

The auger measures about 48" from end to end & about 42" from the cutting teeth to the top.
