Actually pouring a quart of automatic transmissions fluid in a full tank of fuel won't hurt anything if its done once in a great while. The fuel rail in your injection pump was gummed up. ATF will clear that up. Often we will simply remove the fuel filter, fill the filter with ATF and accomplish do the same thing. But only do it a a mechanical injection pump.

I have a MF2625 and am trying to get the wiring pattern for the wires that go on the alternator. Could you help? a picture of the hookup would be great. There are four wires and I know where the positive, ground and slide on wires go but not where the larger black one goes. Thanks!
