Tiller 2615 Mahindra--what size tiller?

Greetings, I am new to this forum. I recently purchased a Mahindra 2615 HST. I am going to purchase a King Kutter rototiller, would like to get a 5', not sure if my tractor can handle it. I do not have a FEL on the tractor (I also have a 5050 Allis Chalmers which has a loader). My garden and food plots are heavy clay. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to TBN ! If I remember correctly the 2615 is 26/23PTO HP. I think your tractor could handle a 5" tiller in heavy clay based soil. Just go shallow on the first pass.

I have a 58" Muratori Tiller on my 2615 and it works fine. You'll be fine with the KK unless your ground is unusually hard. Make sure you have a slip clutch on your PTO shaft and that it is adjusted properly. The slip clutch will help if you hit any big obstacles.
