Mowing 2615 HST-Problems W/ Finishing Mower Woods RM 660

I bought a used Woods RM 660 finishing mower a few months ago and have used it about three times. My finishing mower has three blades. The middle blade is cutting grass about 1 inch lower than the two outer blades. Do I need to adust something?

I doubt there is any adjustment that can be made to solve the problem, but an inch should be easy to see what the problem is if you take a look at the bottom side of the mower. The problem could be an incorrect spindle or blade, a bent deck. Good luck with it.

What Galen said - plus - check to see if either the center or the 2 end blades are upside down. On the deck of my lawn tractor I once put one blade upside down after sharpening. Cut at a different height and left a "stringy" appearance because it was using the back edge of the blade instead of the sharp edge. Doesn't cut well that way. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
