I just have a question on my 2610 the lights that are mounted on the ROP work and flash with the hazard switch on the dash. Now I have owned the tractor for almost a year and never had a reason to operate the tractor after dark until the other day. While I have the headlamps on the lights on the ROP do not flash if I turn the headlamps off the start flashing again my question is do they all do this and if so is there a way to override it. I would like to have those lights flashing when the headlamps are on also for visibility reasons since my driveway is right at the crown of a knole and a higher flasher stand a chance of being seen from down the hill than the ones in the tail of the fenders

If I understand correctly that is strange. So the fender flasher work with the head lamps but the ones on the ROP stop when head lights are on?

I don't guess I have ever tested that with the 4815. Hopefully someone else will have more insight.

Are the lights on the ROPS LED? Hard to tell but looks like it might be. I wonder if that has something to do with it or something in the wiring. I noticed on pictures of the internet, that these tractors come originally with incandescent bulbs.

Yes, the tractor came with incandescent lights on the ROP. I switched them to LEDS for the brighter lights the incandescent were two wire and the new LEDS are two wires. I just changed the ends on the LEDS from spade to barrel so I could plug them into the factory wiring harness. I never used the headlamps before the swap, so I don't know if the incandescent stopped flashing when the headlamps were turned on or not.

I'm now wondering if they are using those lights as just marker lights.

I was checking the wiring diagram from the 2510, but the lights they used, were both marker and flasher lights so it actually had 3 wires.

Is there a service manual available for the 2610? I've never found one.

Sorry I was incorrect after reading this post I want and checked the lights that are cabinet, and they are 3 wires and I just looked at a photo I had of the LEDS when they came in and they are 3 wires also. Sorry I was wrong I was trying to recall for I actually did this swap back in Feb of this year just have never used the tractor after dark.

Can you still connect the old lights and try it out? To see if the changes anything at all.

I can just have to pull the wire loom off un tape the harness so I can plug them back in. I was just hoping to not have to do all that since it's in the 30tys here and the tractor in a non-heated shed and we all know how electrical tape like to work in the cold.

I am wondering if you may have the marker and flasher wires crossed? Another thing you might could try is disconnect the marker wires just use the flashers.

I understand the cold thing only I probably work less than the tape in cold weather. 😅
