260b Backhoe Valve Sticking

I’ve seen discussions on this before but not sure how to solve. Boom lever, which I’ve learned is the float detent, is sticking when I move it forward. Not just all the way forward in the float position, but there’s no spring back anywhere. 150 hours. Just out of warranty. The problem started after the control valve started leaking hydro fluid up through the cover plate. There was a broken o-ring. There’s also a nick in the spool. We’ll see if/how much this leaks when it’s running again. I think the issue has to be in the valve at the bottom. How do I get at this? I’m assuming I rotate the bottom at the slot. Any advice on how to do it? I don’t want to go in cold. More photos attached.
