I am officially a wuss now with a winter cab'd tractor. Have the blower assembly sitting on my hoe cart until I can weld one up for the new stuff...

Here is more detail on the 78" blower. Has a 26" four blade fan just like my big 78" JRW rear blower...

Wow! Nice machine and impressive snow blower! How are you going to stay calm until winter now?

Can't wait to see some action shots. With that impressive setup you'll be getting clearing requests from your friends, neighbors, and probably even the County!

I have a Buffalo ranch guy down the road that supplies me with my dirt/Afton Stone/topsoil to play with. His ' toys ' actually make my ' toys ' look like real toys... :)

Interesting that they painted it black instead of red. Does it look like it was made by Mahindra or by someone else? If someone else they probably have a sticker on it somewhere like the loaders and backhoes. Turns out the only thing Mahindra built on my tractor is the engine.

BTW with a snow blower and living in that cold Michigan winter weather, I think a cab is just the smart thing to do and doesn't make you a wuss at all.

The blower and subframe assembly are made by Bercomac, I think near Quebec... It has a made in Canada sticker and mentions Bercomac on the subframe. But all the other stickers say Mahindra with Mahindra serial numbers. Even the two ' books ' that came with it only mention Mahindra... Just about the nicest blower I have seen in a long time. I figured the gear ration today and she should turn 571 RPM with the mid PTO at 2000. Can't wait to blow the smithereenies out of something next winter.... :) Had it out today LP'n my Afton stone on the drive... Sure is hard to get used to being in a cab. It's like you are running a video game or something. Not much feedback with the real world.

Well all you need now is a disco ball to make that cab complete.

I know on mine the loader and backhoe were made by Kansas Machine Works.

BTW I see you made a dolly for your backhoe. After looking at some others on here, I'm building one for mine now. I've never had my hoe off so I hope it works out.

Yup, my 5035 was made in India, has a KMW FEL, BradCo hoe, US tires/rims/seat. The 2555 is mostly TYM with a Mahindra 55HP @ 2300RPM mCRD Turbo [ not very noisy, sort of sounds like a percolator next to my 5035 ], and US tires/rims... The backhoe cart works great... just remember when you get that 1500 pounds rolling it's hard to stop... :)

I figured mine at about a thousand pounds or half a ton figuring the shipping weight minus a couple hundred pounds for the sub frame. I'm putting a handle on the end with swivel casters (bucket end) to try to make it easy to maneuver.

My carts have swivel casters on all corners.... no handle. Moving it is an experience... use a big oak wheelbarrow handle to kind of lever it around in the direction I want it to go... Kind of like herding cats until I get it where I want it...
