Oil & Fuel 2538 Service (oil/filter, Hyd system, front axle flush)

Thank you fellas. I have been down the hand pour path the old school way with an old Case 730 I own, it sucked! Those upper square drain plugs are driving me crazy. I really, really done want to round them off, they promise to be a challenge.

I had to use a torch to heat up one of the drain plugs in order to loosen it, cause they "painted it in" after they torqued the (insert 4 letter word of your choice) out of it. Actually, if I had it to do over, I'd use the torch to heat up all 3 of the front drain plugs.

Look at the bright side...it won't be near as tough to do it the 2nd time. I'm coming up on 1000 hours on mine, and will have to change all the fluids again. Bet I can do it in under an hour this time, as opposed to 2 hours last time.

Good advice, me thinks. I am going to heat em up and use a 12 MM open end wrench....
