2538 bucket lift cylinders...the stainless tubes

Been searching for a pair , one of mine is bent junk and the other is heading there. ..thanks

Try a local hydraulics shop. Just measure the length and width of the cylinder. They could probably give you some insight on where to go/buy it.

It might be less expensive to buy a used pair, even if you have to replace the seals. I think they're rated for almost 1000# each.

Doesn't have to be "Mahindra" cylinders. They don't make them anyway for the 2538. But you need ones with same size pins, and flow rate.

My control valve body went to junk, and I replaced it with a generic valve body, and works just fine.

Well since none seem to be available ... I capped and bypassed the front cylinder lines so I can still run and the tractor ....backhoe is still working.... Stump digging will keep me busy for bit! Thankfully it's not winter with SNOW!

Follow up...thanks for the replies and ideas...
what I got from a 'local component shop'... the bent and gouged condition of the tube.. ...repair was a futile road to go down.

You can buy new cylinders for not much more than seal kits from Mahindra. You might even find one with larger rods that won't bens so easily.

That's what I was trying to communicate. Use a different "brand" than Mahindra. Guess I didn't do a good enough job. I'm going to save the link myself, as at some point, I'll need to replace one, or more.

Follow up....machine shop located a pair.... I installed and am working again!
