Mowing 2520 with finish mower

I have a ( new to me 2520 ) with the 62D MMM and I am going to sell the mower. I would like opinions / suggestions on what size 3PT finish mower works best. A 60" covers the width I believe but with it power a 72" mower ? This is my first HST so I am not familiar with the power loss on the PTO operated equipment. The 62D mowed fine but I didn't like the reduced ground clearance with the mower on.

Since the 2320 (like mine) runs the 62D deck with no problem, your additional horsepower should handle the 72" mower. I actually wouldn't be concerned with running a 72 on mine. I'm wondering why you want to change. I assume yours is a drive over deck. It only takes a few minutes to remove it. I'm sure rear mount mowers will do a good job, but now you will be running over the grass with both the front and rear wheels before you cut it. That's the main reason I use the MMM instead of a rear finish mower.

Thanks for the reply. I pulled the mower off easy enough but I just don't like the reduced ground clearance, nor how it interferes with the 3PT operation. I may just keep it if I don'y get an offer for it
