Does anyone know the part number and cost for the 60# wheel weights for the 2520? And do they come as a set of one starter and one additinal weight? The JD parts catalog says the number BM1965 is invalid.

I don't know the Part #, but JDParts usually does not have the BM #'s in it. The BM's are considered "whole goods" and have to be ordered through a salesman, not the parts counter.

Go to the "build your own" section on the main site and you can get the # there.

Part Number for the wheel weight is 'BM17965', the weight bolt kit is 'BM17987'. Wheel weights were $105 each, the bolt kit $4 each. All were available as a singular piece, not as a kit. Craig

Thanks Gunmaker. Appreciate the help. I'm going to add 2 on each side. With the box blade and the weights with water filled tires that puts the ballast where it should be according to the 200CX users manual (700+ lbs plus the fluid filled tires).

Snow is not an issue in Dulzura. The last time I had snow here was Christmas eve 1987.:D

Be sure and check the hardware that comes with the weights before you leave the dealer. For two weights, you get two long carriage bolts and two short ones, plus 4 nuts and washers per side. When I opened the box for my hardware, I was short two nuts and washers per side and had to arm-wrestle the parts guy to get them. Could have come up with them myself, but for the price, they need to give you all of them.

Incidentally, there were no mounting instructions with them. You use the two short bolts on the first weight and the long ones on the second. It's a little confusing because there are four holes in the wheel, but evidently you only use two bolts.

Thanks for the heads up. Exact same thing happened to me. Each package is short two nuts and washers. My dealer gave them to me with no hassle. It was fun juggling those weights by myself to get them installed but I managed. Got a can of paint to touch them up to prevent rust after I installed them. JD sure is proud of their paint.
