2520 and King Kutter Rototiller Question?

I was looking at the different rototillers at tractor supply and was wandering which would work with my 2520? Also can it be made to fit onto my quick hitch and will the drive shaft work?? Has anyone used this setup with the 2520?

That "fit the quick hitch" question would be a good one to ask the sales people at tractor supply. Take their hitch out to the tillers and try them out. Or take your iMatch along.
That way you can see if there needs to be any reasonable modifications needed to make the fit.
Which of the tillers are you specifically looking at?

I had to grind some metal off the rear side of my Harbor Freight quick hitch lower hooks before it would work with the KK tiller. The pins on the KK are too close to the frame for my quick hitch to work without some grinding.

I love TSC but if you think you're going to get quality advise from their sales staff you're sadly mistaken.

I wouldn't think "quality advice" would be necessary. Just permission to take their quick hitch out to see how it fits. All I was thinking.

Had to do the exact same thing.. I have the 5' KK tiller and a 2520 w/ Harbor Freight quick hitch..

It sounds like it would be easier to get the JD or Frontier model?? I really don't want to grind anything of the imatch and weaken the structure. Of course it would be cheaper to buy another imatch than to pay for one of them 2 tillers...

Tractor Supply changed tiller mfg it is not King Kutter it is a company called Tarter mfg. The tillers are the same color as king kutter but check the mfg plate. I was in the same boat last year and called this new company Tarter and they told me they have just been making these tillers for TSC for a year. I decided to bite the bullet and got the JD 655 tiller and am not sorry everything fits and it sure does tear up the ground.

Tarter may be the brand that TSC calls "Country Line" at your location.....but it's not the brand they selected in my location. Here it's still King Kutter. It varies by section of the country.

I bought the 5' tiller a couple years ago from TSC and use the I-Match on my 2520 with no problem, or having to cut the PTO shaft. Worked for me.
No Grinding
