Kubota has been offering them for a few years now. Glad to see others doing the same. Even in a small machine the cab is awesome in the winter!

as long as the consumer homeowner market is willing to pay for creature comforts, manufacturers will accommodate regardless of machine size. i would not be surprised to see even zero turns come out with an enclosed a/c enclosure for those who feel the need.
we're fortunate to be in a consumer market with endless options. guess if one is willing to pay, why not.

A couple of hp, at most.

Those big power loss numbers were being thrown around in the fifties and early sixties when air conditioning in cars was becoming more common, but they were a stretch even the,. Modern rotary compressors are more efficient than those old reciprocating beasts, too.

I would think that a lot of those 25hp subcompacts are traction limited, not power limited, anyway.
