2430/304 clutch removal/replace

any experiance with dual-stage clutch replacement? remove engine or split tractor

Split the tractor. Look at this thread. Its not a Jinma but a Kama and will be very similar. Rob always does a great job documenting everything, so it will give a lot of info.

You will have to split it at the bell housing,make sure you block both sides of the rear of the engine because the front axle will pivot . If we can help you with any parts or questions please let me know

did'nt have the time to research, but , treated it the same as when i split my backhoe. blocked the front and used a rolling floorjack for the back. to speed it up, just cut the cowl,forward of the instruments and steering colume, a couple of "nice" splice plates will take care fo that. Olnly took a couple of hours, now waiting for parts.

Ouch! I think I would have taken the extra 30 minutes to remove it all. My luck I wold have cut every wire in there.

I hear that, but the cut was at a position where the cowl necks down to its smallest, mid way between the tank and front. The nice part is now to gain access to batteries, radiator, hydraulic tanks, i now only remove 2 screws at the bottom front and a couple at the new splice. great for service. As far as wire,,,,,,all now have quick disconnects at the splice, and don't have to remove/mark attach points. coud have installed "camlocks" but only a couple of screws. Terry
