2410 leaking hydraulic oil from driveshaft?

Help. My 2410 is leaking oil. Looks like it's coming from the driveshaft entry into the transmission.

It started slow and is picking up speed. I need to keep my tractor running.

Any ideas?

Are you speaking of the PTO shaft? Those seals are common to leak and easily fixed. Please give is more details and a picture of what your talking about if you can.

thx Kid. I will do. It's leaking a bit slower now but danged if I can find where. it's leaking onto the fan and it sprays everywhere. drips everywhere. so far i'm getting away with topping up the fluid but I haven't tried any real jobs. just a bit of moving stuff. so will check the PTO shaft. pics to follow.

If it's dripping on the fan, I do not think it's the pto as I think it is lower then the fan. You might just have a loose hose connection.

just got to the farm. in the city this weekend. hot showers. movie stars. whoo hoo. lol.
i put a new hose on this spring after pinching one putting the backhoe on. so will check that.
*** nope.
plus. i parked on an angle with the front of the tractor up and it didn't leak at all that I can see.
and i was away for two days. feels like there might be some rope or twine around the driveshaft where it goes into the gearbox.
there is a film of oil everywhere. so i guess i've done my rust protection for winter now.
what's just as bad. i'm supposed to be cutting wood today and the trigger on my saw has come unhooked. it'll run but it won't go.
