I have replaced the pan gasket on this motor, but now it will only run at top speed. The governer assembly flew apart, but I have replaced it, just not sure if it was installed properly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

KS, sounds like a governor problem. make sure the governor moves freely. Could your linkage be hooked up backwards?
