Mayor - one more thing...what are you using your sprayer for? I saw your setup and its well done. I'm thinking about getting a tank so I can water plants that are too far for the hose. It seems that all available setups are focused on spraying rather than watering....what are you guys spraying? I have a couple 2 gallon pump sprayers and have never had the need to spray more than a few gallons of roundup, deer repellent or pesticides. I'm curious to know what you are using yours for.

I guess it all depends on how you want to do it. The easy way is just to fill the bucket up with water and take it to the plants you want to water. A small pump off the batery will water the plants or you could just dump some out. This is what I do when I need to.

As far as the sprayer my set up was made to go around trees and other thinds real easy. Had to run a switch with a 12v power port to run it and it works great. Most of the year the sprayer is left on and if I see a weed I hit the switch. Makes life easy. The spray pattern is about 9 ft wide. If you do not have trees and other things to go around take a look at Loogie's set up on his 2305.

Oh, After getting the pipe for the mount finished I had to weld the joints so it would not move with the weight.

Rookie, when you have a full load of dirt or stone (crushed or otherwise) you'll want a counter weight to balance the machine out. Especially if you'll be traveling over rough or uneven terrain. Its more compact behind you than a BB, so manuvering is easier. If you're only moving mulch (very light), you can get away without the ballast - but be careful to keep the bucket low and move slowly. There's no sense in pushing things...

As for a water tank, get something from TSC and mount it to a carry all. You can drill a hole in the bottom and connect a hose to that. Easy and cheap...

Great, thanks guys. I'll do the carryall and tank setup, which will also help with my weight. If I put a 50 gallon tank on, thats 400+ pounds of water! I realize thats less than a ballast box of concrete, but its close to the 500+ that the 200CX manual says I need (with filled tires). Kill two birds with one stone, not a bad way to go.

Thanks.

Are you going to run an imatch (quick hitch)? If so, only a few carryall's will fit. I do like the idea of a large tank for watering. Still the weight box is a must for any heavy work. You will find this out on your own soon.

What size pipe did you use to make this mount?

I did not have a ballast box with my 2520, I just used a box blade. It was not heavy enough, I could still lift a back tire when using my grapple on sapplings. I added 4 deere weights (42#) and it helped but still needed more for traction. I have this same box blade with my 3320 and can lift a rear tire still, and these tires are filled. I am moving up to a piece of 5' Ibeam and a 5' of railroad iron. The more weight the better traction when digging in a pile. JC
