Sorry.....things have been hectic. Did it work? No. It was worth a shot though.

I will start another thread later this week as I do a step by step (ish) removal of the pump to change the two possible gaskets. Ugh. It doesn't look too bad but I'm in the midst of a truck project as well. So be it....
