Still needs jack stands. Your jack could fail.

I had a friend working under his Kenworth twin screw truck. One axle had both wheels off and he had a bottle jack on each side. One jack failed and he was crushed to death.

Thanks for the advice, I have jack stands, didnt deem them neccessary as I was just pulling the wheels so I could access the 3 point hitch support pin. If the jack failed the rear of the tractor would have dropped and I would have been out of harms way.
