2320/2520 rear hydraulics

This is probably a stupid question but I will ask it anyway. Does a 2320/2520 have hydraulic at the back of the tractor as standard equipment? If not, what option is it called and about how much does it cost? I am assuming that if I want to have a wood splitter or chipper that needs hydraulics, there needs to be a coupling of some sort at the back of the tractor.

Short answer: No, they do not have rear hydraulics as standard equipment.

For power implements like logsplitters and backhoes that have their own valves you need to "Power Beyond" option. It is basically a set of hoses that have a constant supply of hydraulic oil whenever the tractor is running. The kit sell for about $250 and is fairly easy to install.

Adding valves to control cylinders is a little more complicated and expensive ($500 and up) and will require some custom fabrication because JD does not offer a good solution for this for the smaller tractors. There are quite a few threads I can link when your ready.

Deere finally came out with a rear SCV for the 2320, needs
the power beyond kit, but there is now an official kit from
JD.
LVB25927 is the part number, lists for $399, but does not
include the power beyond.

Thanks Dutch, I heard about one for the 2520, but not the 2320.

But, at $399 (for one valve/remote) plus the PB kit...He can add 2 or 3 valves with aftermarket pats for the same money.

You're not running a chipper hydraulically either. I just went through seeing if that was possible.
