I know I want a green tractor and the 2210 looks great--but then the "secret" of the 2305 comes out. I want to get the most bang for the buck and "bargain" used 2210s and X series are hard to come by locally. Questions:

1. I want to mow 3.5 acres of field with 20 or so trees to weave around (to become yard with TLC) but it needs landscaping, some minor scraping and bed creation). Gravel driveway of 150 feet to deal with. FEL is optional but if I got it I would use it for "work" (scraping, light snow pushing, mulch, etc) about 20% of the time. Am I right to spend the extra $$$ and rule out the X series with a 62" MMM? I do like the versatility of the AWS on the X but it seems like I would want the 2210s 4WD and attachment capability down the road.

2. Am I screwing myself by not getting the FEL installed on 2210 up front (is it a pain to install later?) and does the CX Loader interfere with mowing vision (the bucket is removeable, right?

3. How can I get the best price on a new 2210 with 62" MMM? With the 2305 coming or already here, why wouldn't my local dealer want to move his remaining 2210s? They won't budge off of $13300 for the 62MMM and 200CX on the 2210.

I am hesitant to get the 2305 as a new model (although I do wish I had the first one), although not much seems to have changed. I can't figure why the 2210s shouldn't have some reduced value. I can buy with cash but this does not seem to motivate my dealer.

Any insight is appreciated. God bless America and America bless God.

Not only the bucket, but the whole loader goes on or off easily. Makes for a great setup for tight mowing, and goes on in a flash for all those uses you didn't even know you had!

I feel that the SubCUT (2210 or 2305) would be a much better deal for you than an 'X'. You willl use the loader more than you imagine...

Your dealer may be betting there are people willing to pay more for the 2210 over the 2305. He's allowed. You probably would be happier with the new model...

If you check on Deere's site, they have a dealer locator. You might be surprised that there are other nearby dealers who want your business. But price is only one consideration. You want a dealer who will give good service, sometimnes that costs a little more...

Stick with the sub-CUT and get the loader up front. $13.3K isn't a bad price. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Won't budge on price, probably because the new ones are not out yet, and until they are, the 2210's could be sold without depleteing his inventory in the meantime. Just a wild thought.

Check with Gardiner Outdoor in Waldorf MD ask for Neil. They had 1 left when I picked mine up last week . I payed $12,700.00 for a 2210 with a 200CX and a 54" MMM /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
