After last weekend here in Ohio mass quantities of leaves have fallen. I decided to buy a set of Gators for my 62C MMM. Well turns out I fell out of my barn loft and messed up a shoulder, so the Gators will not be installed. I decided I better get to mowing the leaves. I mowed about 2 acres in a circle to get all the leaves to the center. I then mowed over the leaf piles 5 or 6 times until there's just nothing left. I can't believe how well the deck mulches up the leaves with just standard blades and no attachments. My roadside ditch was full of leaves about 3 feet deep and wet. I just put it in 4x4 and mowed them right out and into a row to mulch. My neighbors with their zero turns were just looking while raking. (A 2305 is the only machine I've ever seen that can mow this ditch. It's the perfect size)

rv,

Sorry to hear about your fall. Hope all heals quick. If you were impressed mulching leaves with the regular blades, wait until you try the gators!

I did the same thing with mine today! You are right , they mulch the leaves into dime or smaller sized pieces. I also mow about 400 feet of ditch along the road and the 2305 makes two easy passes to get it done.
