Mowing 2305 mower deck

Stuart:

I agree with you. I don't use mine anymore due to that and it filling two quick. I use my cyclone rake instead which holds a lot more.

Having to 'bolt on' the grass catcher with the huge bolts, etc. is a pain. The other reason I don't like it is it's a 'push' design rather than the cyclone rake (and DR) pull design. If the hose or boot clogs on my cyclone rake I can shut down the tractor and pull the stuff out quickly (after disconnecting the hose) - Easy. Due to the blower being in the boot I can't do that with the JD one. You can try and reach around the blower impellers but that's a pain in the A##. If you try to undo the belt you'll burn yourself on the pulley.

Was way to frustrating to me. I'd sell it in a heartbeat if anyone wants it.

deere has a bundled kit that allows you to lift your deck separately from your three point on a 2305. that way you can mount an attachment on your three point and control its height independantly of the deck height.

you can check the price of this bundle at your dealer. that bundle number is LVB25630 (Independent Mower Lift)

just another option for you. wouldn't have to worry about bolts or messing with your draft arms all the time.
