Any of you guys try the DR premier vac with a chipper buit in on their 2305 ?
The prices now are between $1,400 and $2,070 depending on if you get electric start or manual start and the size of the engine. The unit looks great on their web site, but I wanted to know if it works as good as it looks like it would.

Hi:

I haven't tried the Dr unit (I'd like to) but I have a cyclone rake (Same idea, was out before the DR models) and it works great on the 2305. I think the Dr would be better since my one complaint of the CR is that emptying it can be a pain if you let the bag get full. - The DR has a hard plastic container that should empty easily. Also the Dr unit looks like it'll blow less dust. I think the CR collapses (for storage) a little smaller than the DR but I'm not sure.

Note that the powerflow collection system (for the 2305, 2320, and 2520) isn't even in the same class (I have one, I know). I would return my powerflow system if I still could. It does vacuum ok, but clogs easily (The blower is on the deck) and doesn't hold much at all. It's also a pain in the a#$ to put on and off and you have to take it off to use your 3pt hitch.
