.22s ... anyone have one ?

Have several 22s but, my favorite is a Ruger Single Six convertible that shoots both 22LR and 22 Mags. Bought it back in the 1970's.

My brother in law has one of those too and holy crap is it accurate. His is the longer 10" (target I think) barrel.

Savage 24F,.22/410 over-under purchased by my father in the late 1950's
S&W 2206,stainless auto pistol purchased new in the early 1990's

I have 5 of them. My favorite is a henry lever action. So much fun to shoot.

I agree with the poster above...I have a .22 Magnum, and it is a great varmit rifle.

I have many including a 10-22, S&W MP 15-22, Marlin 60, a few Glenfields (Marlin) but my favorite, most accurate and probably least expensive are my Mossbergs. None cost more that $150.00 and they are extremely reliable tack drivers. These are great old rifles that sold for ~40 bucks new. Here is a real beauty, a 146a-b "Tee" bolt with original scope, peep sights and detachable swivels. Some kid won it in a pool game and knew nothing about it... picked it up for a hundred bucks. The peep sight by themselves sell for over $100.00 on eBay and the swivels will command 50-60 dollars each.

I have a few of those myself. My 146b isn't nearly the condition of yours, but it still shoots. The nicest Mossberg that I have it the 44US. Here's a pic of it:
