Can anybody tell me how you hook up the switch underneath a 2210 when converting to a X-series seat? I see the actual seat hooks up the same but the switch housing is completely different.

I know that this is an answer to your question but I just used the 2210 seat with the X series suspension.

Really.....hmmmmmm

I think changing to the X seat helped more than the suspension did. I love them both, but you'd really benefit from changing that park-bench seat!

I left the switches OFF, so i can run it without being on it.

So if I don't plug it into anything it'll still run? Or do I have to jump it?

The new seat should come with a switch just for that type of seat. When I did the suspension seat conversion I was wondering about that ,but when it came in it had its own switch. So it was a no brainer for me.

The one I'm looking at is just the seat, nothing else. It's brand new but no hardware, safety switch, or suspension. I can get it for just under $100 shipped. But if I can't use it then what's the sense, right?

I swapped the X series seat and suspension onto my 2210 and I'm pretty sure the new seat had the sensor in it. The sensor has a different shape but the connector is the same

I posted comparison / before and after pictures in the TBN picture gallery, if you do a search on "2210 seat" you will find them.

Of all the upgrades I've made to my 2210, the seat swap has provided the most benefit. If I was only doing one or the other I would do the suspension first then the seat......
