2210 parts made of gold?

It has come to my attention that the water pump is leaking on my 2210 . A new pump costs over $300 ! Anyone happen to know where I might aquire one besides at the gold dealer? Thanks.

You probably won't be able to. You can call a yanmar dealer and see what they charge. But I would just get the Deere one

I'd check the bearings and seals to see if they are replaceable in the aftermarket and try to rebuild it myself.

Sometimes you can get the parts at Acklands and just rebuild them yourself. Check with NAPA for a rebuild. I Googled part number "MIA880048 water pump" and came up with several at $200 and a few at $175.

A new fuel solenoid for my 4105 cost me $255.79. (My dealership got it to me in 2 days)

((Turned out that it wasn't the problem, so now I have a spare.))

Don't be so sad, just think what the extra money is paying for. You don't want the CEO's of John Deere to be traveling the country in second class seats or staying at a motel 6 do you.

Not to pile on when you're having bad luck, but you didn't buy a cheap machine with cheap parts. Tractors are expensive because the parts are expensive.

Yeayeayea, you guys are too funny. Been come upon hard times since I purchased the beasty. Got no choice but to repair it. Suck it up buttercup and all that hilarious crap. Still better off than to buy a cheaper machine and fix it or replace it every few years. Anyone have ideas on lotto numbers??

To me it doesn't matter whether I paid a premium price or a cheap price for a machine. When it has a major failure, it hurts. Each person can fill in a dollar amount for "major failure". $300 for a water pump is "MAJOR" to me.

Hope you can find a solution that fits your needs.
