My 2210 said "What snow?" /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif unstoppable traction!! can't wait for some significant snow, BRING IT ON!!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I had excellent results last winter with my 2210 moving snow. Never lacked traction even with turf tires. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I love my 2210 in the snow too - had 12" of heavy wet snow a couple weeks ago and it worked great (turf tires, loader, rear blade). Do you use skid shoes on your rear blade? I was scared to use the blade too much on the pavement because it seemed like it could dig in and wreck the pavement. It was my first snowfall with my new tractor so I may just have been too cautious.

I saw another thread on here with wheels on the rear blade which looked mighty nice.

that's the trick, moving the snow without moving the gravel. Wheels might be an idea. but hey, it was only 2" of snow but it was an excuse to play! HEEHEE /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

For snow removal on gravel, I turn the blade around so the cutting edge is dragging rather than cutting and set the blade just above the gravel height. Removes most of the snow and leaves most of the gravel.

I agree, the 2210 with a loader and backblade can move a lot of snow in a hurry.
