I couldn't find a vent on the front diff /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Recently changed the front diff fluid on my 2210 and had a surprise. I warmed the fluid for about 10 minutes before changing. I had the main plug just about unscrewed when the plug shot-out, with fluid spraying from the opening (landed all over the mower deck /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif). Obviously as the fluid warmed it expanded pressurizing the axle housing. I thought the axle was vented through the cap/dipstick, but I couldn't find an orifice. I'm surprised it's not vented (that I can see). You'd think fluid would leak at the seals without a vent.
