Maybe I am working it too hard, but when I am working in a pile of dirt and get the bucket under a load that does not even fill the bucket, it squeals. I have checked the fluid level at the back and it is fine, no leaks in the hoses that I can find, but it just done seem to be handling even a light load well.

Also, it is not lifting the wheels off the ground as it did before for removing the bucket. There used to be some clearance, now they just barely come off the ground before stopping lifting.

Any hints, ideas, or what ever would be appreciated. I have 107 hours, did the 50 hours engine oil change myself, have always greased the fittings and checked the oil, hydraulic fluid etc. regularly.

Well, as you know, something ain't right! Is it possible that the 3PH lever isn't returning to the neutral position? I've noticed the rest of the hydraulics don't work as well when that happens. Does everything else seem to work okay? Could be a bad relief valve or something I guess. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Only time I have had issues with the hyd is the bucket would "lock" in one place. Most of the time this would be resolved on its own. Seems under minimal stress I get the squeal. Yes the lever is going back where it should and all the other hyd are working fine.

Someone told me of an adjustment on the pressure to the hyd, but not sure of where it is, or if it in fact would help this.

squealing is usually the releif valve, if u are are sure it is not right, with only 107 hrs on it have the dealer check it out.

Hello,
Sorry to hear of your trouble, I have a BX 22 and have had a similar problem. The solution for me was to move the mower lift lever to the center-neutral position. When I did that the power of my front bucket hydraulics was restored.
When the lift it left in the up position it causes the hydraulic releif to open whis results in poor loader performance.

It's just a thought and you may have already checked it.

Thanks, that is usually where the lever is anyway, and come to think of it, the mover deck when moving it up to HOLD position squeals also. I usually release the lever, then pull it again to get the mower deck to full up. Even the back hyd, with an implement on it, will do this.

Going in for service tomorrow, should have back on Thurs. Dealers service tech said he "knew" what the problem with the deck is and with the 3 point, but not sure on the bucket. I just wonder what he "knows" that may have or should have been out in a bulletin for all owners.

I will keep you updated
