2166 new battery, just clicks.

I have a new battery in my 2166 cub, and it only starts after i charge it. Could it be the starter or is there an alternater of some sort? I have checked the fuses...

remove new battery. first, try cleaning (to bright metal) battery terminals and also other start circuit connection points to eliminate any voltage drops due to corrosion.
Also have your new battery LOAD tested by a competent shop. Those batteries - even new - are notorious for being faulty as purchased.
post back with update if prob still continues...

I cleaned it and ended up bypassing it to be sure. Thanks!
