2146 no spark

Just paid for a used 2146CC last week. Yesterday- no spark. Checked the normal stuff like the seat switch and low oil sensor. No joy. I am not at all familiar with these engines, Linamar IIRC. Any thoughts on what the check next?

Bump for solution.
Put away my 2146 (Onan 14hp) because of the same problem. Turns over, no spark.
