Hi,

Looking for some information that I can not find on line.

I have a 755 and decided to put a loader on it. The supply of used model 70 loaders is just about non-existant. A new loader from John Deere is beyond what I want to put into a loader. Aftermarket loaders are very near the price of a new John Deere loader.

I bought a used in as-new condition 210 loader that I plan on mounting on the 755. I have a pretty good metal working shop, and modifying or making mounting brackets will not be a problem.

I have most of the measurements and details worked out, but I can not find the distance from the top of the tube the loader mounts on to the ground. From pictures, it looks as though the 755 frame sits about 5 or 6 inches higher than the frame on a 2210.

In the specs for a 210 mounted on a 2210, it lists a digging depth of almost 8 inches. When mounted on the 755, I would like to be able to keep a digging depth of at least 3 inches up to about 4 inches. If the 210 is mounted on the 755 at the heigth of the square hole in the frame of the 755, the digging depth might be less than the desired 3 inch.

Could someone that has a 2210 with a 210 loader measure the distance from the ground to the top of the square tube that the loader mounts on? Having that dimension would save a lot of time in making a set or mounts using best guess, and later having to rework them.

Thanks in advance,
Dale

Hi, the square tube is at an angle of about 20 degrees tilted up toward the back of the tractor. On my 2210 with a 210 loader the dimension from the ground to the highest point on the square tube is 17 inches. Hope this helps.
Take care,
Ken

Hi Ken,

Yes, that helps a lot. I knew the square was angled on the 2210 brackets, the brackets were included with the loader.

I will need to marry the square from the brackets or from stock tubing to the square of the 755 at the angle that the 2210 brackets have.

The top of the tubing opening for the 755 is about 22" from the ground. Mounting the top of the angled tubing for the 210 at that height will effectively raise the loader about 5 inches, leaving about a 3 inch digging depth. There is room to drop the tube about an inch to provide for a 4 inch digging depth, and I may do that.

Thanks for taking the time to measure and reply.
