You're saving what? $7-8K? Hard to imagine that much damage could be done in 7 hours, unless they ran it without oil or fried the ecu. Seems that even if you have to pay for repairs you may come out ahead, if it's not a friday build. If you are handy with a wrench, you should definitely come out ahead on anything except ecu/emissions stuff.

What kind of auction? I bought my LS from an "Estate Auction" about 6 mo. into the warranty, and LS transferred the warranty when I called the national sales manager & provided the paperwork/ad/bill-of-sale/etc. Said only equipment auctions would void their warranty. So you may want to call bobcat & check.

Few thoughts;
1) if it's a resale, is there a potential to reduce that price by maybe 10%?
2) If there an option to ask the resale dealer for a 90 day warranty? Even 30 days?

If there is something scary wrong, it should show up pretty fast, but probably not a 5 minute drive on dealers lot.

I'm Not saying $19k is a bad deal, but it's not so stellar that I wouldn't ask the questions above.

Oh, remotes, 3rd function, forks, or anything else in the deal. You might not get them to move on price, but maybe you can get them to throw a set of remotes or SSQA forks in at the $19k price? Or a used impliment they have on trade or auction purchase. Maybe a 5ft bushhog, they might have paid $350 at an auction, and have it listed for $700; but that's not too painful for them to bundle in to make the deal.

I would say, if it's what your looking for, it's a pretty good deal, if it's not exactly what you need, it's not such a deal that I would run out to buy it. Big part, you cash or financing? A used equipment loan and terms might erase any savings over new. I'd still see if they would be willing to do a 30 day warranty, even if labor only, just as a bit of peace of mind, or a free set of remotes (or even free labor, you pay for parts)

My thinking, on the not screaming deal part; you could get a CK2620 for $19,500; and turn the fuel up (voiding warranty), and have a zero hour machine, for the same price. It's certainly not a bad deal, and the machine looks brand new.
