Backhoe 2020 Kubota L3560 LE, can i use my 3pt Kelley Backhoe B15 on it

Just traded in my John Deere 1250 in for a Kubota L3560 wondering if i can put my 3 pt Kelley Backhoe B15 on it?

Are you aware of the possible top link issues with ALL 3pt. backhoes?

The official word from Kubota is they will not warranty their machines from any damage relating to a 3pt hoe. Subframe mounted hoe or bust (quite literally possibly).

Tractors are better now in some respects, but still not that beefy where the transmission connects to the engine when you consider the forces a hoe puts on a machine. Numerous machines of all colors have snapped in half or ripped out 3pt mounts from the unusual forces a hoe can generate.

Your Kubota is a similar ballpark weight & HP machine to your JD. So it would probably work about the same. You'd likely be safe too if you were gentile, many have been fine over the years. Personally I wouldn't risk it though on my new or now a few years old machine. I've thought about some cheap 3pt hoe's sized for a B instead of a L when they show up on Craigslist. But I just end up wrenching on a friends 25hp real TBL (Terramite clone) & borrowing that.

I don't recommend 3pt hoes. As others said, the 3pt is just not designed for it, along with the tractor's frame.

Look at the difference between a Kubota TLB and the same model without the TLB. You'll see all the extra rigging steel that is used to strengthen the frame. Also, the hoe is directly connected/pinned to the frame.

Personally, from experience, I much prefer regular backhoes. From the controls, to the visibility, to the 360 degree rotation, etc, it's just a better match than a TLB even.
