So I accidentally touched the -+ on the gear shift while driving and a vertical set of numbers one through ten appeared with the current gear that the truck is in highlighted , neat.
The cross traffic alert works well as well as the warning for a crash is about to happen.
I’m a bit disappointed in the steering wheel vibration warning when you wander out of you lane - it did not activate till I was two feet out of the lane. My Kia alerts when you touch the lane markers which is more helpful.

Even neat'r: if you click the "-" button with the gears displayed, it will begin locking out higher gears starting with 10th. Very handy to prevent early upshifting (for FE), and keep the engine closer to it's power band. Click "+" to bring them back, and/or upshift.

I have something similar in m '04. How do you keep it from sliding around, though? If I do buy one it will be with the rear seat delete option. Those rear seats do nothing for me except to take up space.

I took the seats out of my suburban. The downside is it still left 8 1.5” tall studs in the floor. I could cut them off but that would be a big turnoff if I sold the vehicle. I’d planned on building a shelf that bolts over them.

What is FE?
The "+" and the "-" on the gear sift I thought only change gears when the gearshift is in "S" not "D". Have you found anything in the owners manual about the gear numbers appearing on the dash?

FE is fuel economy. I think all the Ford 10 speeds operate the same way. They have a manual position as well as PRND on the shifter. If it's in manual, the +/- changes the gears. If it's not in manual, the +/- toggles the gear position display on and off. There is also another button that toggles between normal, sport and towing mode, which changes the shift point program.

Ok got it.
When you shift to "S" (sport gear) the "+" and "-" allow you to shift gears manually but will not allow you to shift too high if you RPMs are low.
When in "S" a digital tach appears to the left of the speedometer with the gear you are in in red on the tach.
When you are in "D" drive and touch the " + or -" on the gear shift the 1-10 appear on the right hand side of the speedometer showing which gear you are in. pushing the + - toggle will not change gears when in "D"
