This is my first post here!
I tried to find some filter cross reference but it was not so easy, so I will post what I found. Please help if you know Air and fuel filter cross reference.
I recently completed my 50 hour maintenance on 2014 New Holland Boomer 33.
These 3 are the engine oil and 2 hydraulic filters. I should write the New Holland part numbers down but don't have that info right now.
1715 Napa 1715 - Wix 51715,
1551 Napa 1551 - Wix 51551,
7000 Napa 7000 - Wix 57000,
I bought these air filters because I found a cross reference online but they are both too large, they do Not fit.
6490 Napa 6490 - Wix 46490, H-D Air Filter 1
6489 Napa 6489 - Wix 46489, H-D Air Filter
Some things I learned about the filter replacement:
1) Large horizontal hydraulic filter. I was told to part up hill so fluid would not leak out after removal. That didn't work well. It flowed a lot with filter removed. I watched for a short time to see if it would stop, but it kept flowing. I screwed on filter easily though. Next time I will try flat ground and see if it is better or not.
2) Had to remove backhoe in order to remove vertically mounted hydraulic filter. Parked on flat ground this time, it didn't drip much after filter was removed. But I had lost a lot of fluid from the other filter removal process. That may have had an effect.
3) Engine Oil drain plug is above some frame members. Oil could run a long ways to back of tractor and make a big mess. So I parked pointing down hill, small slope. I made a gutter out of plastic pipe to direct oil into my bucket.
4) I bought 16-18 inch long funnels because it was hard to get to the fill hole on both engine and hydraulic (same hole on back axle for both hydraulic drive and implement). I had to make special trip to the store because I did not prepare for this problem.
5) The hydraulic dip stick in fill hole is shiny metal, fluid level is very hard to see. Flat Black would be better. I scuffed it up with a hand file. It helped only a little.
