2014 emax 22
New to site and was wondering if someone can help me figure out why my 2014 mahindra emax22 is creeping forward when my foot is off the pedals. Looks like when I step on the reverse, it "offsets" the forward movement, thus transmission seems to be stopped. Apologies if not using the right terms. Love this thing though!!!!!Hope it is an easy fix that I can do. Although under warranty, don't want to haul it back to dealer for something simple.

Welcome to TBN!

Your HST go pedals operate much like most other hydraulic valves. It sounds like it just isn't centering properly. Most have some sort of adjustment. Most of the operator's manuals have that sort of adjustment information. Perhaps someone else will have better info specific to the unit, but I don't think anything is "broke" as it is actually sorta common to see on many HST machines of many brands.

Thanks Sysops for the keyword "hst" to refine my search and found a post for 2615 hst adjustment with diagram. Hopefully its similar to emax. I'll check it out tomorrow. I love machines that makes my life easier!!

I'll 2nd all of the above. My Max 22 does that too. I'm used to it so I don't care anymore. You should really set the brake when you get off the tractor anyway. Other than that I really never use the brake. I'd take it to the dealer for its first service and have them take a look at it. My dealer picks up warranty work no charge. Might want to ask them to pick it up.

I don't believe that the adjustment on the eMax is like the 2615. I haven't adjusted one recently, but I believe there is a nut to loosen and an accentric to turn to make the adjustment. I hope this helps.

Lawallstractor you are right. Diagram looked like it was for a rocker type versus the side by side. Checked the manual too and only has something for brake adjustment..no hst. Dealer going to charge me 80 to pickup or come out for warranty work. So still holding out for someone to give me a little guidance and hopefully written diagram for visual. Use this a lot in close quarter work and want it to return to neutral when take my foot of as intended for a little piece of mind. Thanks in advance. Thanks all so far for the responses.

I can't tell you which way to turn the acentric, but I would try turning it one way and try it. If you the problem gets worse, go the other way, and by the way, I can tell you a little bit of a turn makes a big difference, but if you play with it a bit you should be able to get it. Good luck.

Problem solved!! Thank Casey from Campway of Santa Rosa! If you are interested, all you need to do is adjust turnbuckle of control rod assembly, between fan and hst pedals, until tractor does not move anymore when you take your foot off pedals. I've attached picture for your reference. Took 5 minutes and saved me 120 bucks to transport back to dealer. Great dealer support! Thanks to forum for help.
