2012 New Holland T1510
So I ended up getting the T1510 new two months ago and I now just noticied it has a leak right behind the oil pan if your looking at it from the front. I'm not too familiar with tractors but its red fluid - im thinking hydraulic or transmission? Here's a couple pics. Already called the service manager where I bought it from and sent him the pictures after describing it. I'll say this, he doesn't sound as nice as when hes trying to sell one lol 2010-12-11 07.39.02.jpg2010-12-11 07.39.37.jpg2010-12-11 07.39.52.jpg2010-12-11 07.40.01.jpg

I don't have any red fluids in my 2011 T1510. I'd start by pulling dipsticks and such to find out what fluid is red. Trans/hydro/steering fluid is clear and they utilize the same sump, so I doubt that it's one of those - unless they changed fluid colors. Coolant should be green, and that's about all there is.

Its the transmission leaking. Sent the pics to the service manager and we narrowed it down. Now I have to pay for them to transport it to and from my house because of a manufacturer defect. Little annoyed that I have to pay 250 because some f up who didn't seal the tranny or let it adhere properly.

Can't see why a mfg defect is on your dime after only two months. Poor pr on dealers part I think.

I actually called the nearby dealer and they said they eat alot of costs in instances like this. He said to contact the NH to see if they work with me to cover the warranty work and transport otherwise they have mechanics that live by me that may be willing to haul it in for a cheap fee.

My purchasing dealer was just like your's before I bought my tractor, but they turned out to be real p***ks afterwards. I bought several items shortly after buying my tractor which included a 64" a s/blower, which BTW they would not deliver. The guy in parts obviously made a mistake on the prices because I received a bill in the mail for $1.46 - yes, that is one dollar & forty six cents.

I changed dealers shortly after that because there's several additional stories I could tell. My current dealer, which is about 40 miles further, has done nothing but bend over backwards to do what they can to help me with any issues I have. I bought my QA snow plow from them and guess what? they delivered it no charge. If I were you, I'd check out that new dealer you spoke of. Chances are they will better serve you. Keep us posted! Good luck!

The bad thing about that is the dealer mechanic that prepped your tractor probably knew it was leaking. It's pretty common practice to let something like that go by on a prep and fix it after delivery because they don't want to get back-logged. It's a p*ss poor setup, but, unfortunately, that's usually how some/most dealers do it.

Edit: As for the red colored oil -- I'd bet they added a dye to see where the leak was coming from.

Wow my dealer had a problem with the backhoe parts, they still delivered the tractor but as soon as the new parts came in then they picked up the tractor and replaced the defective parts and returned the tractor within a few days, no cost to me for transport, and another problem happened where levers broke for the backhoe, they sent a tech out and he replaced them at no charge also!!!!
