2012 Kubota L45 price check

My 310 has plenty of room. The M59 is pretty bad in comparison. I’m not sure why they didn’t mount the seat a little off center. What year is your M59? The only one I’ve been on was a 2014 and I don’t recall a parking brake being in the way. The fender is just too close.

Yep, My 310 also has plenty of room although It's a little tight if I have a passenger and dog in the cab. What it really needs is a folding buddy seat.

As far as year manufactured, our M59 is one of the first group made so maybe later ones are better. We bought it in 2008. For all I know, the parking brake was moved on later ones. If so, I want to move mine too.
Yep, the fender is too close. Moving that out would also make spinning around easier but clearance is nil. When the M59 first came out Kubota offered optional wheel spacers. I haven't seen them mentioned lately so maybe no longer available. I think that spacers would allow the fender to be moved out. A few inches would sure help.

That reminds me that I haven't looked to see if the rear wheel shape gives enough room that the lower part of the fender could be pushed out a couple of inches.
There may be usable space to be created down at foot level by simply building a pocket into the fender.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Im still looking, i need to buy within the next month before winter hits. Have alot to do with the machine when i get it. Not too much out there, do not really want to buy new with the emissions they put on them now a days.

I wish there was a website where a guy could post what he is looking for rather than just what he has for sale. Hmmm....could that be a million dollar idea?

I’ve been half way serious looking for a M59 for a while. Aside from not wanting to pay 70k plus I’d rather have the older M59 over a m62 with emissions.

There is a huge amount of info on the M59 available right here on TBN. There was one thread - I forget the name - from about 2008 that must have run over 40 pages. A guy named Charles started it.
Other than the emissions, BH reach, and pedal position the M59 and 62 seem to be very similar.

Has anyone added a thumb and aux hydraulics to a L45 ? Curious on what the cost would be.

I think the M59 thumb is about $1500 and the hydraulic kit is about $1500 and you have to have a quick attachment bucket.
